6th grade - IC grade school.
Pushing trays from the cafeteria to the kitchen to be washed.
Nuns took us across the street to the Church, immediately.
Seemed like we spent hours on our knees praying, that afternoon.

We were living in Tempe, AZ at the time. I was in the 6th grade that year. I remember my grandparents from Vegas were visiting us I think we were at a park when the news broke. I remember my Dad and Grandpa discussing it with great concern.

6th grade, playground waiting to go to class after lunch. Principal came out, told us the news and sent us home. Then it was non-stop tv watching for days through the funeral.
