Resistance is futile

Obey lawful commands. Video interactions. Hold bad cops accountable. Problem solved.

I only have 1 7-08, so I can't speak to being accurate in most rifles, but after trying several powders and a few different bullets in mine, (which has worn different barrels) I happily settled on 51 or 51.5 grains of Big Game powder for the 120 BT.

“The Campfire Load” used to be 43-44 grains of Reloder 15 with a 120 NBT or 120 TSX.

I’ve had success with it in 4 different rifles. Deer drop like they were hit by Thor’s Hammer.

Seems like some prefer Varget or Big Game, I have no personal experience with them.

I tested varget and big game with nosler 140 ballistic tips and the kimber definitely favored the big game.

If you don’t use Big Game you’re a gay communist who likes cats.

Makes sense. I agree, on principle.

I'm not sure what he is but I do know he lives in my barn and he's quite independent

Big Game with the 120 gr. Ballistic Tip for the win! I used to use RL 15, but get more velocity and equal accuracy with BG.

The 120 NBT is a classic in the 7-08 and has been one of my favorites.

New fav is the 140 Sierra HPBT. It’s slightly more accurate than the NBT, probably a bit more expansive. I get quick kills with good exits.

Try it.

I'm a fan of IMR3031 for 120/130 in the 7-08. My rifle (M70 Fwt) has always benefited from speeding up the burn rate for any particular bullet weight. YMMV

This old girl stepped in front of a 140 NBT a few days ago. I have another 7-08 sighted in with 120’s that I need to drag out.
