Dad and I got out for a few hours Friday afternoon and for about 3 hours yesterday before th wind picked up. Found a few crappies, caught most about 10-12' down. We didn't light them up but I think we had about a dozen each day. No white caps but once the wind picked up it became difficult to hold right on the trees and suspended fish. Was early afternoon anyway so we decided to call it quits before the rain moved in. Warmed up to almost 51° Friday afternoon.

When we get ice on the lake it will be done. Our ice rarely lasts more than a few weeks though.
