Big bucks go nocturnal for the most part after a few days of Wisconsin gun deer season. Some move off the high ground and into the river bottoms and onto some of the islands. As we do every year we go after them. Water levels are down so we couldn't use some of the boats so resorted to canoes. A plus was no thin ice to break, temperature at noon was 50*. Three bucks were shot and the newbie in camp scored a large one. Drinks were on him at a local bar. Just a toad! Details of the shot?

It appears Roundoak stole the pics and made up a BS story. Sad.
