My dad said "horny" instead of "ornery". In retrospect, they're the same.
I used to say "chester drawers" instead of "chest of drawers".
When I was a kid I thought "making mincemeat" was the same thing as "making ends meet". Could never figure out why we never had mincemeat for dinner.
By the way "Olathe" the town in Colorado is pronounced O-lay-thuh. Saguche is pronounced Suh-watch.
Louisville is pronounced Louis-ville. Not luwee-ville, nor loovl. The Poudre river is pronounced poo-der.

An auctioneer acquaintance that sells a lot of guns and hunting stuff should know better, but he still says Savorsky for Swarovski and Akeela for Aguila. I hear Hornaday instead of Hornady so often I almost ignore it any more.
