I know i have1 or 2 with the SAP proof mark, i suppose you guys want me to go out and do some looking.

Well, since you bring it up...

Do you have takedowns in the 227,xxx to 233,xxx range? Might check on the bottom of the barrel for an SAP stamp there. Mine was hard to see with naked eye.

Keith seems to have found a 99F at 290,1xx that has an SP stamp both near the 300 SAVAGE stamp and on the bottom of the barrel where part of the serial number is. So might eyeball as much of the gun as you can easily get to.

Ii'll spend some time on it in the morning.might take a while.

You could probably round up any number of volunteers to help out Loggah.

Thanks, Don! Definitely finding new stuff (to me). SAP on 340,270 is odd. Using up an older barrel probably.

Other than #340270 the highest SAP on Don’s list is #335980. #336084 is a .30-30 G with SP on the barrel.
