What about you guys? It seems like some fellas were recently bemoaning 77's chambered in .338WM... Let's hear about it.

Any centerfire with a Ruger stock, T/C Hawken with it's beautiful brass butt plate, and a NEF single shot with slugs. Honorable mentions goes to a Chinese SKS with it's horrible ergonomics.

I had the same gun as a kid and I wasn’t smart enough to not pull the trigger. My dad took it away from me until all the bruises went away. 1-7/8 oz Remington nitro mags.

I've only owned 2 long guns I got rid of due to recoil....

The first was a 1970 semi automatic 12 ga Ithaca model 300 featherweight.....a recoil operated semi that kept my shoulder black n blue.....have owned gas operated semis ever since.

The second was an early 90s Remington 700 ADL 3006 that treated me the same way. No way I could ever determine how accurate it may have been as I dreaded bench shooting with it.

Weatherby Mark V 300 WM. Absolutely violent. I’ve shot up to a 458 win mag and it wasn’t nearly as bad as that Weatherby or any long Weatherby magnum in any platform.

My 45-70 guide gun with hot 430gr slugs @1800fps will get your attention.

I have a old howa 06 with a cheap plastic stock that is uncomfortable to shoot, but it shoots an inch so I've left it alone. One day I need to re-stock that one, it's way worse felt recoil than my 338 WM with 250gr slugs.

Exactly my load in my GG. it will get your attention….but, certainly not horrible! Now with a short eye relief scope…..that really gets your attention! 😉 memtb

300 WinMag in a Interarms wood stocked rifle. Prone position in August with a Tee shirt on and I thought it broke my collar bone. Traded it in for a 243 LOL!!!

Remington 870 supermag with a pre-released Boyd’s thumb hole stock, shooting 3” slugs. I thought I had broken my nose and cheek bone at that moment blood and all.

I fired three rounds through a .458 Lott about 10 years ago. I was the only one to fire three as all the other blokes would only fire one. We were standing up but it still bit two of them. The claret started flowing.

470 chapstick with 600 grain bullets. THAT gun had broken 3 Stocks .It was a custom model 70 win .It broke every scope they put on it .The other was a 375 jdj carbine in tc contender carbine .It blew open the action and bent the scope mount and blew me out of the chair
