Just a note about CO. Stubbs did touch base there just in case no resident stepped up. But, it would be better if a local takes him to Denver, Boulder and the western slope. Hopefully, someone will take one for the team.

Over FB's dead body, that. No man with an actual set of stones would post the support Wabi-ghoul did and not retract or condemn his previous support after the facts emerged. Weak, cowardly and disgusting shyt.
Tomorrow or the day after, Stubbs shall ride again, headed southwest.

Last list I saw. Maybe not current. Anyone interested in hosting/playing, post up. I'll adjust the list. I know some guys hosted Stubbs and posted up. If you see any errors on the the list, let me know and I'll edit.
Thanks.

OK, here we go. Stubbs New Mexico Adventure Day 1:
Stubbs told me he was ready for a good hike, so we were up and on the trail about 30 minutes before sunrise. Temperature was cool and the winds were fairly light so we had no issues with the weather. The plan was to hike some canyons and then attempt to track and find a herd of wild horses nearby. Truthfully, these horses are feral as they probably descend from domestic stock but they have no shoes, no brands, no fences and no feeders. They survive on their own and they are quite skittish about being approached. Anyway, here are a few pics from the beginning of our hike:
About 3 miles later we made it to the bottom. Stubbs did some bouldering on the way down and posed bravely near a skull on one of the signs. Then we hiked up a canyon and had to make a slight detour around an area where one of the walls collapsed after our most recent rain.
We finally made it out of the canyons and on to the "flats". We cut the tracks and followed them for about a mile before I spotted horses. I apologize that Stubbs wasn't in most of the horse pictures as we got as close as we could get and stay hidden. Thus, all my shots were on full zoom and with Stubbs in the foreground the horses would have been blurry blobs.
We stumbled across this. It was in pretty good condition and had obviously been there a while. I took some pics and left it where it was.
Stubbs was game to give chase to this guy, but I explained that we were over a century late.
We made it back to civilization and had covered over 9 miles. Stubbs was beat, but we had a meeting of the Bourbon Club to prepare for so I got him right into the kitchen to start prepping the wings.

Maybe Stubbs would fare well in the high desert of SE Arizona - Cochise and Geronimo country, old Tombstone and the Lavender Pit in Bisbee, across some of that nasty border scene, down into the caverns, maybe even climb a saguaro, visit a barrio, see some Tohono O'odahm, eat some raw chile - lots of local flavor for a hunkabarrel. Just a thought.
Yeah, that was the idea agreed upon. Without pointing fingers, I throw my hands up. Between the last two members in possession of Stubbs, it's been like a year and a half... I give up.

This journey probably would take two or three days - unless Dennis gets in on it - then maybe 2 hours.

That sounds grand, and I'd love to see those things, Paul. Hey, current keeper of Stubbs, let's get a move on, wot?
