Curious what you would do.
I have a LH Zastava LKM 85, problem is, the knob on the bolt handel is a bit too small for my large hands. I'd want to a a larger knob. I had posted on a different forum and the answer was too and down and either thread or cut off and eld on a new knob. Problem is, that will be a permanent modification, if I would mess it up that wouldn't be good.
Is their a different solution? Thought about maybe buying a plastic ball and cutting out a slot them somehow glueing it over the knob.
Any ideas?

I've seen knobs built up in diameter with a rubber dip coating like used on tool handles.
There are also some clam shell type extensions that clamp over the knob.

Something like this? https://mdttac.ca/mdt-bolt-knob/I have ground and threaded a number of R700 bolt knobs. Easy to do with basic tools.

That looks like the one my friend has. Ugly, but works for him.

I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.
