Not sure exactly when he was born-but about 1900. My grandfather was a university professor from Mariupol Ukraine. Josef Stalin sent him to a Siberian Gulag where he died in 1939.
My grandpop was born on April 4, 1901. He knew some tough times, but better times than our grandkids will ever know. And the sad thing is they won't care.
Born in Indian Territory (later OK), 31 Oct 1892; died Fort Bliss Army camp (El Paso, TX) 15 Nov 1918, 2 weeks after his 26th birthday.
Mom was 2 1/2 months old. I am fortunate to have a family photo from the day Private Johnson had gotten back to IT to see his family before returning to El Paso.
“You must endeavour to enjoy the pleasure of doing good. That is all that makes life valuable.” Robert E. Lee, in a letter to his invalid wife.
I never met him I was born a couple years after his death. His actual birth year was 1918 not 1919, he lied to get a job and somehow the fake year ended up on his tombstone.
Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

77 rite now, as a kid he was my favorite person to hunt with, I could never sit still or be quiet and it never bothered him. Taught me to shoot, hunt, track deer, reload and so much more about the out doors. And to this day is still killing big deer
My dad is older than most grandads as he would be 113 and my grandfather would be 152. He even fought in the Spanish American War in 1898 at 27 years old..
My grandfather would be exactly 100 years old on February 12th this year. I sure miss him and often wonder what he’d say about all the BS surrounding us today
Mine was born on March 28 1884 so 138 years 9 months he died 1 month before i was born.
