A lot of people say no because they don't 'need' it, can 'do it' themselves, or are just too proud..........
The giver wants and needs to give, and there must be someone to give to!!!
IMHO.
I stayed at John Lachuk's house with him the last few weeks of his life. Some times I would hold his hand in mine while we watched TV. He wanted to give me things. At first I refused, then I realized if I was in his situation I would want to give stuff to someone who cared.
It was disgusting to see the way his son acted when he arrived. I stay for three months after he passed till his house sold.
