IIRC, they used to mount these just forward of the action on M94s back in the day.

I think I might have the original base they used with those. IIRC the base mounts to the dovetail, and a tapped hole in the rear barrel band, and features a rear sight notch that works with the existing front when the scope is removed.
I'll take a look for it. If any potential buyers of this scope are interested, shoot me a PM.
