One going on auction I’m interested in, what’s a good price on these?

Tupperware stock? Good deal, not my deal: $700-$800 7WSM
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Strange things happen at auction. As a buyer, I’d probably want to be in the $800 range for synthetic and 1K range for wood. Unless I actually wanted it.

Tupperware. This auction ends tonight, local. I was thinking $750-$800 but these days who knows what anything is “worth”

I sold a stainless one a couple weeks ago that was mechanically solid but had a few issues:
Barrel has been cut to 22”
Had been painted and most of the paint removed but still had some pink highlights
Original stock replaced with a new factory laminate
After 12 bids it brought $980…quite a bit more then I expected.

We had a terrible initiative, Measure 114, barely pass in Oregon and it had me scrambling to get ahead of the game so I wouldn’t feel the need to buy anything under the rules of this turd before it gets tossed by SCOTUS. To that end among other things I bought an unfired J-bolt era stainless M700 in 7 SAUM as a donor for a future build. I paid way more than the above numbers you guys are tossing around for it. And I’m very glad I did. Point being, all it takes is one desperate fool to drive prices up beyond what seems reasonable! Mine wasn’t an auction, but I guarantee if I hadn’t snagged it someone else was gonna. I have a couple 7 WSM’s, love them. I think this one becomes a light 6.5 SAUM.
The CENTER will hold.

So we can keep a level playing field, how many years ago was that?
