I’m a Eagle Rare guy. I stopped by a liquor store yesterday and they were offering tastings. They had a new brand of bourbon I hadn’t heard of before. Penelope. I tried their cask strength. It had a bit of burn but then I tried their toasted. Holy cow that was smooth. No burn at all. $70 a bottle. I pay $50 for eagle rare so this new stuff seemed over priced. I left it there……. For now

Left over jambalaya and a Gordon's martini. Youngest son and a co-worker are currently en-route from SE Texas to hunt axis out back.
