Long list of “no’s” here. Buddy drew DB291, looking forward to tagging along on that one.

I'm excited for it. One could argue that it's the best tag on Kodiak but Art would probably disagree😉

Recall my question to you pre-draw? "What tag am I putting in for and going to win this year, bud?"

YES! wink.

Alaska has been berry, berry good to me!
Sheesh!

Congrats.

Dang, you’ve struck gold two years in a row, Leighton! I’m gonna send you $100 for some Powerball tickets! LOL! I was hoping Art wouldn’t know anyone with the tag this year so I could peel some intel out of him! Haha! I’ll be up there with my boat all summer and flying with a couple of friends as well. Good luck and I’d like to buy you a drink when you’re in town!

Hey Mr. Ptarmigan! Congrats on your tag and I figure odds are pretty damned good we can arrange for a meal and a few drinks in town. I'd like that very much and will definitely be in touch as the season approaches.

Good deal for those who got lucky, and sorry that some have the passion and means and skills to get on the hunt trail, but miss out due to things beyond their control. We've all been there, and it's not a pleasant feeling.

I got everything I put in for. Nothing....

My Plan B IS my Plan A. No money wasted. smile

It was economical last year too. Never fired a shot at game. I call it my "Conserving hunting ammo plan".

But now I'm about out of game meat, so I have to actually kill something again.

You need a better winter time hobby!

Nothing for me this year but plenty of over the counter hunts to keep me entertained.

First time to not apply for tags. I'll just sit back and wait for a call: "Uncle Vern, I have a bison tag for Delta. What do I do?"

Rod would be a good hunt. our base is next to his base in Cold Bay. Good outfit for sure.
