I had Charles make me a new squirrel skinner. I asked that he trim down his existing B&T a little. I spec'd a S30V blade .110" and 2 3/4" - 3" and this finished out at 2 7/8" cutting edge. I wanted green canvas micarta and red liners to match my May BUK95. This is Charles stock picture. He liked the finished knife enough that he is adding it to his line up and calling it the Teal.

How do you like that Buk95? That pattern along with his Skipjack are on my list, too.

A Skipjack is my next order with Charles. The Buk95 is great. Fits my hand like a glove, works in different positions with no hotspots and the blade shape does everything pretty darned well.

I jumped back in line wirh Charlie a while back for a Bout All. I shouldn't have let my first one get away!
JackM, that skipjack is hard to beat, isn't it? That's probably my favorite May that I've owned

That's a cool new pattern MOGC. Got my May knives after season closed. They'll be first up this year for sure. Buk95 and Fishbone.

That was Osage Orange from an old fence post on my farm. It should darken a bit more but I like it as is.

I thought maybe that was it. Fairly common tree around here. Strong, last forever it seems, burns hot and has a good clean look and color to the grain.

He's made a downsized Skifa and a Cowkiller with a sheepsfoot/warncliffe blade for me. I love the downsized Skifa. On the sheepsfoot/warncliffe knife I should have asked for a longer handle than the Cowkiller's for more leverage...my lack of foresight on that one.

Would love to see the wharnie...my EDC for personal protection is one by Tom Krein...had no idea Charlie made one.
