Fuuuk me running.... 18 inches into digging and encounter this half azzed schit... About 2 ft beyond the end where I Yanked out that other pipe section left in the ditch. How fuuuking lazy can people be.....
I'm just a little azzed up right now.... after breaking up that fuuked up joint... Fuuking thing was taking up room in the trench and dead on the pipe with pressure from hell on it. Trying to maintain a good 2 inches on either side of the pipe Break up more or see if it will pry out as I dig more.
Between the section of 4ft pipe by this fuuuked up rubber joint the other day. Smashing up the bullschit joint I did today . And the water I just put in the trench which ain't lying about slope to the city line. Done digging for today. 😖😖😖😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😖😖😖😖 Start again tommorow......🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️😖😖🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Plumber and construction Pards... I'm sure these pics tell a story of fuuked up fuuuking schit work.....
That fuuking bend and down and up slope where all this bullschit pipe I hauled out the other day and schit I just broke up today, by that fuuked up joint.. Broke a glass Pepsi bottle in this area today also, in addition to the 2 plastic ones in this area the other day.
All fuuuked up by the buried section of pipe from the other day I Yanked out. The fuuked up schit I broke up today with big pressure on it. And that fuuuked up rubber joint dead in the middle of the low spot.
I’d cut the joint and redo with pvc joints and a 4-6 ft pvc section since you’ve dug it up
Gonna do a 180 with entire length of pipe. See how it looks. Make decisions...
Wanna get a 1 peice run from house under side walk. Then see what length remains to cut that bend after side walk and room in ditch side to side. Joint in what needed with pvc joints.
Only fuuuking rubber thing is gonna be that connector off the house main to the clean out. I might be able to incorporate that bend into the clean out. Already missing a inch in drop from the house line , the rubber connect and the clean out drop front the get.
That was my 1st day of digging discovery...
Who ever did this before did it 100% halfazzed from the start.....

Nothing at all wrong with a Fernco if installed properly and minimal gap between the 2 pieces being joined. They use em on 10" mains all of the time on sewer point repairs when joining clay to modern PVC. Same principal on placing a new sewer tap on an existing sewer main.
Also, how far from foundation to city main? If near 100' I would stick another clean out in near the curb/road. Make sure the clean outs can be used both ways. A guy can get a snake to go backwards in a 1 way cleanout but can be a bitsch if water is standing up in your clean out stack.
If you have somebody coming out to jet your service it might be a good idea to have him jet to city main and if he has a push camera have him look at the tap where your service joins the main. If roots have penetrated there it might be a good idea to have the tap repaired as well. City may be up to assist with that.
A rental company close to you may have a push camera as well.
