Why not? Most of the add on levels are awkward and not real handy. Makes me wonder why the manufacturers don't just incorporate a level in the ocular housing? Any insights?

Didn't the old Springfield armory line of scopes have a level inside them also?

Sure, why not in a scope designed for shooting at ranges where that matters. Some may well be willing to pay extra for that feature, assuming it’s well designed and that the other elements inside the scope are properly aligned. Last thing needed is a reticle that’s not square combined with an internal level that might be crookedy, maybe in another direction, or to a different degree.
Count me out, as I want my scopes simple, precise, and robust, and no heavier than necessary for that robustness. Don’t need or want clutter in the field for my use.
What fresh Hell is this?

Sig BDX does. And it works so well. So nice ranging and having a dot for the holdover and preset wind dots on the sides to judge with. Bang. Dead animal. Its a shame it only calculates out to 800.

They had what you wanted many years ago. Called iron sights. LMAO. But to each their own. Amazingly I can ignore stuff not needed for close shots and still kill just fine.

Been using scopes with plain crosshairs, in competition, out to 1000 yds, and doing alright. I don't see the need. GD

MDT Send-It MV3 + Brand Built Ocular Indicator is fantastic if it realllly matters. Have that setup on both of my comp guns as I have a tendency to cant badly, enough to throw off my 22LR considerably at distance. I have it set to be accurate within 0.6*. Super easy to setup and fool proof.
