Thanks everybody for responding. I’ll check them
all out. I’m 65 and only discovered prine recently.
There is a lot of great music out there I haven’t
heard. Guys like TVZ, DAC, and JJW are so
overlooked. I’d Like to discover unknown music
like trampled turtles and James McMurtry

Not country, but if you like Trampled, check out Mumford and Sons.

Especially their Live stuff.

I'd listen to any of the above before the big name garbage like Girth, Chesneeze, or Florida Cuba line.

I do like Chris Stapleton cause he shook up the pop country $hit show and actually can write a song that says something.

Ignore his political ideas and Sturgill Simpson has some good stuff. This whole album is good. Each song builds on the previous one.

James McMurtry is the son of Lonesome Dove author Larry McMurtry. Storytelling runs in the family

RUMs are like woman in Stiletto heals, you know they are going to put you in the poor house, but that has never stopped anyone from pursuing them.
