I dont mind mowing but I have been transitioning agressively into small clover, violets, and wild strawberry. Eff grass and lawns.
Quit giving in inch by inch then looking back to lament the mile behind ya and wonder how to preserve those few feet left in front of ya. They'll never stop until they're stopped. That's a fact.

My daughter and wife cut the grass today. You'd have thought sometime during the 1 acre process, one of them would have noticed the spiraling trail of hydraulic oil (7 gallons worth) that was following them. Just sayin'...  On the upside, it might make for a pretty cool design when the grass dies along the trail.

Picking up a little horse poop around the house sure beats mowing all the time.
Lawn mowing is the biggest waste of time ever dumped on the male of our species.
Growing up, it was work for women and kids. None of my male relatives mowed the lawn.
