my question is : since a Federal judge made the ruling / law shouldn`t that apply in all states and rule over any older state rule /laws period ? Only in Wyoming. Needs to go to the 10th circuit, which it most likely will, then it would be legal in all the states in the 10th if we get a favorable ruling. I think skavdahl made a solid ruling, but you never know. Certainly this federal case is important, but as of now specific to Wyoming only. i like the ruling and hope it goes thru in all states period. these states and ranchers need to be power stripped on all Federal land ! the Federal land belongs to all legal Americans , these non-resident license fees are getting out of line and paying high fees to trespass is B.S. Agreed, 👍💯

I’m extremely happy that those guys fought this bullshit and WON!
For those that feel sorry for Eshelman, the billionaire that is stuck on his 22,000+ acres and no longer has exclusive access to public land that he successfully locked the public out of for years…..I’m sure that POS Eshelman would appreciate your donations. A POS like him ain’t gonna stop or slow down his harassment just because he got his ass handed to him this time, dumbfucks like him double down when they lose.
I’d love to see the tables turned and a class action suit brought for all the years he denied LEGAL access to public land! Seeing that fu.ckwad having to cough up millions would be sweet justice.
Hopefully someday he’ll bully the wrong guy and get what he deserves…. Nope. Nope. You have it all wrong. He did not lock out the public. All the locals, including the local police officers have hunted that mountain for years. Everyone was welcome and he did not do a damn thing about corner crossers. The only hunters locked out were 4 guys from big MO. Cuz of course those dimwits won't fight it. Lol. Well that's what buzz says.

I’m not sure how many corner crossing cases where someone tramples the flower garden of your city lot to access public land for outdoor recreational purposes really happens….at least outside of your imagination and in real life but your hypothetical what-ifs are duly noted. 😂 If the best make-believe-pretend-hypothetical you can come up with as an argument against this ruling is your “example” of someone beating a path through the flower garden in a city lot then you are obviously out of your element. If you think for ONE SECOND that private property rights are more “important” or more readily enforced in the cities then you really don’t have a clue. Try calling NYPD or Boston PD to report that someone took a shortcut through your city lot AND ACTUALLY SET FOOT ON YOUR PROPERTY…..I’LL SAY IT one more time in case you didn’t understand the actual heart of the matter …THEY ACTUALLY SET FOOT ON YOUR PROPERTY, not the air space above your property, and see how fast they respond. As I’ve posted before, if a private landowner wants to build a high fence to the very last inch of his own property, then I think that’s up to him. If the owner on the opposite corner does likewise, then corner crossing wouldn’t be possible. Hypothetical? Yes, but only up until now. A new chapter in this controversy has now been opened.
Yes, I know. One Obama nominated federal judge says these 4 guys didn’t trespass in this instance. It remains to be seen what that will mean in other disputes going forward. I would not expect landowners to give up.

So, if your flower garden had been trampled, it would be wrong? What so called conservatives who wish to see other peoples' oxes gored ignore, is that every square foot or square inch of private property is sacrosanct. Whether it be your flower garden or remote rangeland. Anything less is a public taking. Right and wrong.. It is still a thing! And again, placing foot on your land is far from what most would call a minimum to constitute trespassing. How about that drone hovering in your front yard? Is that trespassing?
