Shew me thy ways, O LORD: teach me thy paths. "there are few better cartridges on Earth than the 7 x 57mm Mauser" "the .30 Springfield is light, accurate, penetrating, and has surprising stopping power"
"Come, shall we go and kill us venison? And yet it irks me the poor dappled fools, Being native burghers of this desert city, Should in their own confines with forked heads Have their round haunches gored."
Bud also bought a an early Marlin 22 LR 1920,s 39, a over under 8x57 and a shotgun all with the same quality of work, he would only work on his own guns, amazing work and very modest. I asked my bud to name me in his will on the 30 40 perfect fit and balance.

Beautiful Krag, that O/P edition! I particularly like the shallow classy-classic pistol grip angle and the ramp front! I Like the Krag lines. I have a half dozen and of those only one original. It's just a '98 rifle, but great shape! Most of mine are home crafted sporters. One not. Below my 'handsome' gal and my 'era typical'. Something nifty, maybe gratifying about holding a Krag in your hands! Bit short stock for my comfortable shooting (as many rifles) but the mild 30-40 round avoids problems. Thanks for posting your svelte sporter!
