We have missed most of the showers/rain. If it wasn't kinda unseasonably cold we would be peckered.
They called for 3(!) days of heavy rain a week ago. So we seeded some late spring grain kinda shallow.
Fugging wheel tracks won't come up.
Not whining!

We got out little 40 acre patch of silage corn in last Friday.
Dad ran the planter and had it done in a day.
I pre-worked that field twice this spring with a toolbar before we got to it. Weeds, weeds, weeds...
Raining dolla bills again right now.....lol We are going to put in 350 acres of grazing corn. Hopefully you hay pimps can choke on it! Hahaha!

Geno, I don't think it's been frosty here in close to 30 days ago? 40-50-60 degree nights lately. 2800 here. Well, the house side of the property, not in the flood zone for insurance purposes is a few feet higher than the garden across the creek side. And the creek bottom is 8-10' lower than the high side of the property in places. I think the road out front is about 4440?? and our skeeters don't care about the elevation. The sagebrush does though. Lucky to find one 2' tall on this side of the creek. Over in the good dirt of the flood zone, I have some towering one's about 6' tall.
