By the second day without food, your glucose and glycogen are depleted. Your body will begin to break down muscle tissue to provide energy. However, your body is designed to conserve muscle, not break it down. So this phase provides temporary energy while your metabolism is making a major shift.
Once the fat stores have been completely metabolized, the body then reverts back to muscle breakdown for energy, since it’s the only remaining fuel source in the body.
You’ll begin to experience severe adverse symptoms during the stage of starvation where your body is using its muscle reserves for energy.
That is Starvation - not Keytosis.
You do not understand what it is like to be Human.

Your health is of no concern to me.
But your demise will no doubt be interesting reading.
Probably preceded by a long and expensive hospital stay.
Did an 80 hour fast couple of weeks ago. First 24 hours is definitely the hardest, after that smooth sailing. Multiple advantages...good for the immune system, autophagy, etc.
Helps to be in ketosis when you start your fast. Can't imagine going standard american diet right to an extended fast...that would be 24 - 48 hours of hell.

If I had a gun that I said I could shoot xxx size groups with, and someone argued and said that gun or that load won’t shoot that size groups or that velocity it’s an easy thing to take a pick of the group, and/or the chrono reading and picks of the gun.
Dr Pelz talks a lot about the benefits of an extended fast, autophagy doesn't really kick in until 24 plus hours (depending on the individual).
She suggested in another video a 12 hour eating window followed by a 36 hour fast, repeat. So....eat 7 am to 7 pm, fast from 7pm for 36 hours then eat again at 7am, repeat. I might try that next. But, pretty much stick to a 6-7 hour eating window now.
