Very Nice. Was that one of the WalMart special editions?

Very nice.
I see variations of 10/22s online that I never saw on the Ruger site, presumably special runs similar to the ones they do for Lipseys and others. Some of them get the ol’ juices flowing, but if I wait a bit the fever passes. I have one good one that required no tweaking or upgrading and I’m gonna just stick to it, I think….
What fresh Hell is this?

I have but one 10/22. It is abysmally boring. Near as I can determine it is vintage 1971.
I am..........disturbed.

Very nice! I have a real soft spot for mannlicher rifles. I suffer from that affliction also. It can get expensive.

I bought one of those from Walmart in the early 90's on clearance. It now looks like this.

Had a nice new one for our Hunter Safety program that stove piped about every other round. Sent it down the road. A much older beater works perfectly.

The stainless 10/22s with the green laminated Mannlicher-style stocks are a non-cataloged run made for Wal-Mart. I have 3 of them; 2 with a 240- prefix that were shipped in 1994 and 1 with a 242- prefix that was shipped in 1995.
Under the Ruger naming scheme they are the KRBIBBZ style, Model 01132.

Why does everyone else's rifles always look better than any of mine?
Nice pictures of some nice guns.
I could wish a lot of things on my worst enemy but neuropathy ain't one of them.

When I worked for Walmart in college we had these in stock. International (Mannlicher) stocked and standard sporters were available. All were stainless and that green laminate stocked. I still have my International.
