I may be the only one here that has AT&T for at least 25 years and been no issues at all. They recently opened up almost all of South America along with Central and North America for us on a new plan that has no roaming and unlimited GB with 5G. The price went down of all things when we switched. The plan costs us $46.11 per phone and that includes all taxes and fees. For the wetbacks? No, for us. My wife is from Peru and we go there every year. She will stay for 2 months or so. We also travel a lot to these areas and that includes Canada. Just use our phone like normal in all those areas for no additional charge.

t-Mobil for my low budget flip phone, does everything I want for $20 per month. Hasn't failed me yet, and they leave me alone, no ads. I don't do texts and the ones sent to me are ignored.

We had AT&T, they shut down towers, never said a word, we just lost 90% of our home coverage. Went to Verizion, went well for a couple of years, then they kept trying to add stuff to our bill despite a refusal to accept the add ins. Went to T- Mobile, great folks to deal with but no coverage here on the farm, in the woods, so had to go back to Verizion, but in 2023 Space X is supposed to go live here, so got on their list. A friend about an hour and a half by road got his setup and said the rural service is fantastic and is a solid 100% connection. So we shall see how it all irons out.
For medical reasons, a 100% connection would be great for us. Right now at about 60% with Verizion most med services do not work at all because they require a constant and continual loop. For woods dwellers, the hookup would be nice.
