People with concealed carry permits are still allowed transport guns to some private locations such as a gun range or gun store — provided that the firearm has a trigger lock or some other container or mechanism that makes it impossible to discharge, Police and the Attorney General have stated they will NOT enforce this "edict". In New Mexico, she has little say about transporting a firearm, as your vehicle is considered an extension of your home. And a man's home is his castle.

Quite frankly she does not have the authority to suspend the constitution. Been trying to tell a couple of dumb old fuggs that. I think they know something nobody else does. Very true but it'll have to go to court to shut her down. Then it could go through several layers of appeals. She could shut down all guns in the state before the court system shuts her down. This is a national thing, not just state. Anything to do with the constitution affects the entire country. Liberal SOP! Sling all the mud you can against the wall and see what sticks. Then it's rule by precedent! (Lujan-Grisham did it for 30 days! That's a "precedent". No reason we can't call for a 6 month ban...then a one year ban....then a ten year ban! It's okay as it's a precedent in NM. WHY NOT EVERY STATE?)
