Love going to Vegas. The Orleans has a great poker room. Haven’t been in a few years so we hit the Cherokee Casino in NC as a substitute. Vegas is a blast. Good food. Wife loves the slots and shopping. We make money to enjoy it. No regrets here.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I've passed through several times on my way from Los Angeles to Utah, deer hunting. I think my grand total of gambling consisted of dropping about $2.00 in quarters in the slots.
I have a nephew who lives there. He is a longtime dealer at the Belagio Casino/Hotel. He's been doing that for a considerable amount of years. He likes Las Vegas, but he does not gamble.

Loved Vegas when I had a corporate credit card. The World of Concrete was crazy town.

Yes a few times. It's been several years since I've been there now.
I'm not a gambler, but I did go to Fremont Street to people watch and drink football size margaritas. It's amazing how people will pimp themselves and family to make a buck from tourists.
Just because you're offended doesn't mean your right.

Worked construction there for a few months in the late '90s.
Hated it.
But I liked central and northern Nevada much better.

Every winter at least once for over a dozen years starting in 1988, as it was a major host-city for shooting industry shows like SHOT. Eileen and I had great times visiting with friends, and making new ones--in the beginning. And as several have mentioned, it was really affordable if you didn't gamble, with some very good but reasonably priced restaurants. It was also easy to get to from here, and a good break from mid-winter Montana weather.
But it got far more expensive, with worse traffic, so we quit going. Friends tell me haven't had any desire to go back, but sometimes have to.....

Yep! I live here!
OOPS! Wrong one! Been to the newcomer twice, years ago. NO desire to return. BTDT.
It was interesting, as an electrician, seeing 1200 amp services on signs, though.

Was there for two weeks on a Red Flag exercise flying out of Nellis in ‘86 (?) and we hit the Strip a few times and saw a few shows. I only played the slots a few times and came out a little ahead. It’s completely different now and looking at Google Earth I don’t really see anything I recognize. 😊

Quite often in the older days - mostly band/orchestra work - but never for a travel or vacation destination. Not a gambler and going to most shows would have been like a bus driver taking a bus ride.
A few profession conventions over the years - LV has great accommodations/food/access etc. for those.
Flew into there with a small group to rent motorcycles and leave on a 10 day run through the SW. That was big fun. Recently drove up and back to pick up a trailer purchased from a friend - by now the whole scene is unattractive - could not wait to get back across the Colorado.

Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

Nope, and it's not on the docket any time soon.
