Yes…..quite a few times when driving trucks. Wife and I stopped briefly for a meal, a little (very little) gambling and then back on the road! memtb

Our stomping ground in the day was Sonoma and Mendocino counties.

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

I sure wish the 96,618 people who moved here last year felt that way.

What ya get when you tell an architect to build an adult play land and money is not the first consideration.
Apparently that has all slowed down and it ifs not such a safe place to hang out now days.
Take the BIG GUYS out and the punks move in.

The wife and kids and I stopped there for a few days summer '22 on vacation out west. We don't drink or gamble but had a blast with shows, good food, shopping, etc. It was a surprise to me because I didn't expect to have such a good time.

I’ve been a couple times. Cool place to see but I’ve seen it enough. I love Nevada outside of Vegas, friendly people and lots of public land to explore.

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

Being a Nevada native (only about 27% of the population by the way) I'd say Vegas sucks. The wife and I will go to Freedom Fest when it's there which is every other year now it seems.

They get better Entertainment than Reno of which I live nearby but for me it's just a plastically different environment. I pretty much hate it but I love Boulder City enough that I may buy a winter place there.

Born and raised there. I avoid it now. They do have great restaurants, though.

when the Chicago Outfit ran Las Vegas it was great... now that the Corporate Mafia runs it, it's a commercialized chithole...

Stationed at Nellis AFB from early 1961 to mid 1963. Shipped out to Korea to finish off my four years. Met my first wife in Vegas damn the luck. Married six weeks and get shipped out. back to Vegas for about six weeks but couldn't find decent work. Went back to San Francisco. Her parents hated my gut and my family hated hers. Fat chance of lasting. Last time I was in Vegas was for the divorce. These days if I see Vegas it's as I pass through to visit friends in Winnemucca. Lived there for almost ten years and loved the place.

All throughout the 90's and early 2000's, mostly for business and a decent amount with wife and friends.

Like Morewood stated, it was good to have an expense account and Corp Card back then.
