Yes, it's been a while since I've been there. It was more fun when the mob ran things.

been there a handful of times for work
total gambling loss (no wins ) was less than $100. I'm just not interested in gambling, but having to walk thru the casino to get to wherever, I'd drop $20 in a slot machine my last day there
consumed a bunch of alcohol though, ate some good food, had a blast at the piano bar in Harrahs
I was at Caesers one year, would get up at 5am to go to the workout room, without fail every morning a prostitute would stop me and ask if I was looking for company/to party
at 5 phuggin am and I was wearing sweat pants and a t-shirt.
the first time I went, my first night there, there was a bar at the top of the hotel, I can't remember which one, I think the Rio, and all these married guys I knew had a woman hanging on them by 10pm. To each his own, I mind my own business but damn......

In Vegas twice in the late 90s. Highlight of the visits was the Hoover dam and the car collection at the Imperial Palace. If I recall they had a room full of Duesenbergs, one of Hitlers staff cars and I think the Lincoln JFK was shot in was there.

I think I’ve been to Vegas 4 times.
First time when my family and I was just passing through. Food was good and dirt cheap. Too young to gamble.
2015 my own family and I had a condo just off the strip. Food was no longer cheap (with the condo we mostly cooked). I don’t smoke, drink or gamble and the shows are too expensive to take a family to. Red Rock Canyon is nice, Hoover Dam was a zoo, but the Mob Museum was outstanding!
2017 I attended the SCI convention. Found some good restaurants, but they were expensive. I found that walking from the Luxor to the Mandalay Bay Convention center and back, plus the walking around the show absolutely killed my feet.
2022 I attended the SCI convention again. A little smarter this time, I stayed in the Mandalay Bay , but my feet still killed me. I even switch shoes each day. House of Blues has some great food.
Outside of the Convention, Vegas is a waste of time for me.

Numerous times. My wife and I enjoy it though we're not big gamblers – have seen some pretty baller concerts, hiking, great restaurants, weird (but cool) museums, the big canyon / Hoover Dam (though longer drives), and, the city is easily one of the greatest places on earth to people watch.

Been there 3 times. The last two, we stayed downtown by Fremont street. Always fun to people watch the weirdos and street performers.
However, after 4 days of inhaling second hand pot smoke and getting my wallet and i.d. stolen on the morning of our departure, I really have no desire to go back.

Wife likes to go so have been there 3 times. We got married there 14 years ago. Not my thing, so told her the only way I'd go again is to check out the shooting range. 2 years ago: The mini gun was fun - got video of that, but no pics. Wanted to shoot the Ma Deuce, but after standing next to another yahoo touch of the 50 BMG bolt gun indoors, I decided not to. If she makes me go back, I'll schedule a trip to the outdoor range for that.

Once, when I was single. Had a buddy who moved to Henderson, so flew out and spent the weekend partying like single guys.
Now, I'd like to go back and take the bride. Schedule all the good restaurants and go out to Red Rock, etc. Could care less about the casinos.

A bunch in the late 80's thru the late 90's when it was still Vegas, before gentrification. Vegas used to be a great deal-everything was very affordable including the tables. Now it's a Disney-fied corporate owned mall scene, and everything is expensive I haven't been back in over a decade.

Gotta add this …
I’ve really missed the old Sands Casino/Resort. Stayed there several times in the 1970s. Real class act. Loved their breakfasts, white table cloths and napkins, real silverware and China, top notch menu selections and wait staff. Not expensive at all. None of the “feed the hordes all you can eat recycled garbage.

Once was in the running for a job in LV that would have been a big step up. One of two finalists. Got beaten by affirmative action. Never had a real chance.
I've shot at Desert Sportsman's gun club. Nice ranges, nice folks.
Those who live there know there's a whole different world outside the Strip. Same with the French Quarter in NOLA. Lived there for awhile back in the 70s.

My parents lived in Vegas for over 20 years. They retired and moved there. I have visited plenty over that time span. couldn't say how many times. Dad passed away there back in 2005. It's changed a lot over the years. I have no desire to go back.

Several times, mostly for Motorola Dealers Service Stations conventions. My spouse owned one for 10 years and I just went out to the pool and sat with all the trophy wives who were along for the ride. Not much to do if you don’t gamble or drink large quantities. Nearest farms with green grass were 300 miles away so no rides in the countryside.

Think I might have flown over the general area a couple of times.
Didn't see any Elvis impersonators.
