I know nothing about it but NPR on the 1600 hour my time said that they found her and there is a suspect she was riding a bike in the Park after they went there for the weekend she's been gone since Saturday night they haven't gave any more information than that and now here it is 1830 my time Fox on the half an hour news saying there's a missing girl and has been blah blah blah they don't say anything else what's going on...u take a kid ..I got a French fryer.... fired up at McDonald's to dip you in

Person who kidnapped her allegedly has a sexual assault record...

I respectfully disagree with all the bacon suits

My executions would be- convicts dig the hole
and are returned to cells. Condemned is wrapped
in an old bedsheet and stood up beside the hole.

for martyrdom for the weak kneed common today.
We had a John Battaglia here that murdered
his children while on the phone with his ex wife.

Should be 1 year maximum, and less than a
month for a cut and dried case like this one.

Hochul said the break in the case came around 4:20 a.m. ET Monday when the suspect drove to Charlotte’s parents home and put a ransom note in the mailbox.

“He literally drove up to the family’s mailbox assuming they were not home,” Hochul said, adding Charlotte’s parents were still at the campground searching for their daughter.

The family’s home was being monitored by state police, but the officers had been sent to another call in the area when the suspect dropped off the note. Police tested the document for fingerprints and searched law enforcement databases to see if they could find a match. LINK

Hard to tell which stories are the most accurate with the early released information but it don't make any sense that the police would watch him drop the note then let him drive away so they could spend 10 hours trying to figure out who he was.

Either way, good ending to a horrible event, but it appears it could have ended 10 hours sooner.
