Well, I bet I was going to outlive Momma. I set the pension up for maximum payout. But If I die first, she loses $1600/month income.
I am adding $1500/month to IRAs, and do not intend to touch the 401K until the feeds demand we do so. Then we will transfer what we are forced to into another savings account. She should be okay, if the worst happens. Our daughter is comfortable and has promised her Mom one of the seven bedrooms in her house if need be.

If I hit 60, it will be a miracle based on family history of cancer and CV issues. Means I've got about another 10 years.

I'll be 70 end of next year.....
grandparents passed at 104, 97, 89 and 64(heavy smoker)
parents, one still kicking at 95, mom passed at 88.............
