Does anyone make a Fiberglass, composite, Kevlar anything heavy duty stock for an older Ruger M77 tang safety long action? I have a 7mm mag tang safety Ruger and need a new stock. Thanks

Brown Precision makes a great one in either regular or kevlar layup. It is pricey however, I have 2 in 'pounder layup (kevlar) and love them.

I think I sent them an email and they no longer make tang safety stocks. I’ll send again.

McMillan no longer makes them. I always thought I should buy one for my 30-06 tanger but found other things to buy.
So I am interested in this thread to see what the guys come up with.

Thanks I have a couple original wood ones in good shape, somewhat used if interested. Dings and scratches, never refinished. I think one was glass bedded, the other not. Their replacements were synthetic, for customers. Both my tangers are wearing wood.

Check out Oregon Precision. They list a Ruger stock in several layups. Also Wildcat out of Canada lists one however, I don't know if they can export to the States.

I have a Bansner on my M77 RS 35 Whelen. Bought some years ago. I do not know if he still makes one.
