Wood Troll Campfire Greenhorn W Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 80 Southwest Virginia Mountains	Definitely a screech owl. Not creepy - sounds like home! They make a lot of noise for such little guys. They also make a sort of purr/chuckle sound that really sounds odd.
