Thought I heard a screech owl. Sure sounded like one.
Heard one other hight here on the place. Been years since I have heard one of those. Not many if any left around here. We are in missouri east of harrisonville and west of warrensberg. and have a number of screech owls around about most every night . had the 7 yr old grand daughter sqeeling back at them last saturday night . lol she told me they were talking to her. when I ask her what they said , she says they are telling me its time to go home . lol

The last time that bear ate a lawyer he had the runs for 33 days!

Screech owl - like a sick horse in heat. We have several around here.

Definitely a screech owl. Not creepy - sounds like home! They make a lot of noise for such little guys. They also make a sort of purr/chuckle sound that really sounds odd.
