I've never had a need for a pickup to reach 60 in 3 seconds. I have, however, had a need to carry an extra 5 gal of gas when there's no gas or charging station within 100 miles.

The cybertruck offers an auxiliary battery you put in the bed, lol! Let me know when you get yours, I want a ride.  .

I spent a week hunting and getting around in a Rivian. Incredible vehicle but electricity is not nearly as convenient as gasoline. Not in 2023. Not even close.

What everyone seems to overlook, Musk doesn’t care what anybody thinks, he just keeps moving forward. I don’t see a Tesla or any EV in my future, but I love watching what Elon does…

Beyond all the obvious EV drawbacks, there’s many functional reasons why pickups have always looked like pickups, that thing doesn’t.

Porsches aren’t dragsters. Exactly. I don't buy a 911 to go fast in a straight line. I buy a 911 to go very fast in a curved line. Also - real world sightings of the cybertruck show a decided poor fit and finish. That said - I wish Musk the best. I like the guy, even if his Semi is as useful as a white crayon.
