Where are all those blue votes? Ada county hasn't voted blue since Lyndon Johnson. They've been steady at a bit over 50% red until 2020 when Trump beat Biden by almost 2 to 1. There are just a few precincts in Ada country that vote blue and they haven't carried anything.
Rock Chuck i wished I could believe the numbers this election will tell you alot just like the way Montana is going.
Trump in 2016 got 56.17% 279240 votes while Hitler got 177,709 for 35.75 for 64.3 turn out.
Trump in 2020 got 56.75% for 345,602 and Sleepy Joe got 40+ % for 244,786 for 73.1.
Dem vote was 3,000 more for Dem than 2016.
What there not telling you is the ones from the other 47 states how there voting moving here and im sure Idaho too

Idaho is already one of the reddest states in the country and one of the fastest growing. Most of the immigrants are from far left states where life has become untenable with liberal laws and policies.

IDAHO IMMIGRANTS

I respectfully disagree!

While these numbers indicate that they are Republicans……they are very likely far from conservative! A high percentage think they are conservative……and when compared to the “liberal latrines” they left, they are indeed conservative.

When compared to a true conservative……they likely fall short. This will become very apparent as Idaho turns farther left with each passing year! memtb

I hope your right on the numbers but you can certainly feel the shift in some places, I suspect 86thecat nailed it. I had to spend a week in Boise recently for some work training, I literally could not get out soon enough. My blood pressure finally returned to normal somewhere around Stanley on the way home, despite driving through a winter storm which I chose over spending one more night in downtown Boise.

I grew up in Boise but it was about 50,000 then. Eagle and Meridian were both far distance farm towns. Now it's one big city.

Ada county:
In 2020, Trump got 64% of the vote. Biden got 33%.
In 2016, Trump got 59%, Clinton 28%.
In 2012, it was Romney 64%, Obama 33%.
2008, McCain 52%, Obama 45%
Where's the blue flood so many are talking about?

63 to 33 was the numbers for the entire state, Ada county was 50.4 Trump, 46.5 Brandon.
The county where I live was over 79% Trump

My mistake. It's still a red county, though. So far.

Unfortunately I hope I'm wrong but I see Montana and Idaho going the same direction as Texas slowly bleeding red and turning blue

Considering probably 60-80 percent of of the students coming out of high school lean left and the numbers are probably worse for college grads I have a hard time blaming everything on new residents. Kids get 12+ years of brainwashing and it has an effect.

I think a hell of a lot of the the problem is homegrown regardless of what state you're in.

Of all the California's that have moved into my neighborhood one older couple seems pretty solidly conservative.

My brothers block in Boise had at least 3 BLM yard signs on it last time I drove down it. One of the homes had a Subaru with Washington plates in the driveway. A neighborhood I lived in 20 years ago was completely different and had women in burkas walking down the sidewalks and far more diversity than I ever remember. Obama made Boise a target of his diversity program and a major destination for refugees from Somalia and the Sudan. It's the refugees from California that cause most the problems there now.

Open carry a 45 cocked and locked, or a large frame 44, put an AR in an old school rifle rack in your pickup (when you can keep an eye on it), maybe a "Deus Vult" bumper sticker and a red baseball cap. Would be nice if the diners had a rifle rack to hold your equipment when you stop in for a bite after hunting. Scare the crap out of lefties looking to relocate so they go elsewhere.

Big Cities are most often blue because big cities have the highest concentrations of Electronic/Dominion voting machines.

for this redistricting of American miserable.

now as to the border, this not accidental disorder.

Suggest you start by getting active, across the board, go to meetings and take them on, head on in a no holds barred fight. Arm yourself with facts, and do not wound them, kill their lies with the truth, over and over again. Tomorrow is a good day to start.

It took us 45 years to turn Florida around, because we waited too long to start, many thought everyone had a right to their opinion, unfortunately, the liberals think the same with one major difference, that all opinions, only applies to those that agree with them and they lie cheat, steal and corrupt to get whatever they want. This all starts at the local level, so removing the liberal influence base is the key.

Maybe hacking into Dominion would be a more productive option.

They may register as R's but the votes tell the tale.
And with every "conservative" male comes a bleeding heart wife and city kids that will be socialist voters in a few years.
Lived thru the change in central WA as the Californicators over ran us, escaping from what they had created.

This is 100% correct, dont blame what your kids are being taught in school if your not going to Board meetings or paying attention and raising Hell if you dont like it.
Does lockng down schools and the covid B.S ring a bell.
I had to go to school 35 years ago because a teacher was telling my daughter my boat was scaring the eagles in there critical feeding time and boats should be banned on the river I fished steelhead.

Was on a volunteer fire department in CA and the chief was a retiring AG teacher. At one of the monthly meetings not long after Muhammad Ali had passed he was telling the group that it didn’t matter what your politics were you had to respect the man as a boxer. I thought to myself, my aching ass. I’ll respect who I wish. As good a boxer as he might have been when he brought politics into it respect changes.

Knowing he was retiring to MT I asked him if he was going to leave his CA politics behind. He said “what do you mean, I’m probably more conservative than your average Montanan.” My first thought was sure you are you just got done telling all of us how we had to respect Ali. Just because you like guns and fishing and hunting doesn’t make you a conservative. Apologies to the great state of Montana for off loading a liberal union teacher.

With that said. I’d have to say of the other people that I know that claim to be conservative that have moved to other western states. They probably helped with conservatism. I’m not stating that as a fact just a feeling.

The younger generation that has it all figured out via their experiences through the internet are the ones I’m suspect of. These can be imports or home grown locals.

Our friends that have left everything behind to start over in a red state are the type of people that anyone on the right would/should welcome. God fearing, family loving Patriots that have more courage and determination than anyone belittling them or their decision!

It is the ONLY WAY!…at least currently.

Thinking that anyone or any group of anyone could do a single thing to affect the type of change that is required to “fix” a state government’s political bent, an institutional bias supported and funded by the same corrupt government that you’re attempting to change WITHOUT first ending the corruption in the ELECTION process is either seriously deluded or they haven’t thought too hard about this.

Maybe it was possible to accomplish change using the “system” in place….and maybe affecting change over 45 years is a win a half century ago but with the corrupt election process in place today it just isn’t possible.

You can’t change a totalitarian/dictatorship from “within”….it HAS to be torn down and completely rebuilt!
