There is a pretty big list of things I want to watch but we've been holding off until after Xmas for those nights when its so cold you don't want to do anything else but sit in the recliner by the fire.
have you paid your dues, can you moan the blues, can you bend them guitar strings
This is the last day for the Hulu black friday deal, 99cents a month for 12 months. Cancel anytime, this is for the movie/tv version with ads, not the hulu live.
Heck, if you find a few good movies or tv series to watch on its worth 99c a month.
The Outsider, on HBO Max. A mini series with a really good story (a supernatural thriller from Stephen King).
The only problem is, HBO spent about $1.98 on the sound and lighting. The dialogue sounds like it was recorded on a Radio Shack cassette player from 1987, and the lighting is murky even in broad daylight. At night time, forget it. And there are way too many scenes taking place in unlit rooms. It really takes away from what is otherwise a good tale.

We recently enjoyed "Bye Bye Barry" on Prime. It is a documentary on Barry Sanders.
Currently enjoying "Bosch Legacy" also on Prime.
Yep. The documentary on Barry Sanders was very good. Seemed like a great guy, too.
"Allways speak the truth and you will never have to remember what you said before..." Sam Houston Texans, "We say Grace, We Say Mam, If You Don't Like it, We Don't Give a Damn!"

Sounds awesome
It's actually a damn good story. Basically a murder mystery whodunit, with the lead cop trying to come to grips with his suspect doing things that are impossible for normal humans to do. We are going to watch it all the way through despite the sound and dark lighting being annoying.
Watched a "comedy" on Prime the other night. "Arizona". If you can see beyond the obvious plot, it was a very remarkable comment on the 2008 mortgage crisis, the self indulgent people who were sucked in by it, the get rich quick flipping houses crowd, the piracy of the crooked lenders... Won't win any prizes with the film critics, but it is a pretty profound piece on a period of Americana we'd just as soon forget. Sad, funny, definitely thought provoking, and violent.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Xmas?
Socialist re-education graduate.
Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want.
World War II: From the Frontlines on Netflix. I believe someone else mentioned it before on this thread and it stuck in the back of my mind to check it out. It is a documentary that is quite good, telling many stories of individual experiences. And, it is all in color.

Slow Horses on Apple is good. I like to watch Gary Oldman work
"Camping places fix themselves in your mind as if you had spent long periods of your life in them. You will remember a curve of your wagon track in the grass of the plain like the features of a friend." Isak Dinesen
Reacher is back for season 2 on Prime. Three episodes have been released so far.
Yep. First 3 episodes are good !
