Left-handed Sedgley Springfield in 30-06.

I bid on that rifle until it got too painful many years ago.

Kid and his mom came into the shop about 15 years ago with a LH 1903 sporter he inherited from his grand dad. But I think it was a Mathieu Arms from Oakland Calif. it was a damn nice rifle!

Ruger No 1 RSI in 7 X 57

Mauser 98 guild rifle octagon barrel, ribbed, good iron sights, double set trigger in 8 X 57 or 7 X57. Perhaps a take down.

Wasn’t the Mathieu conversion kind of gear driven?

A practical arm: a Kimber 84M Montana with a slightly heavier aftermarket barrel chambered in .223 and twisted 1:7 or 8......

I always wanted a Remington 600 in 6mm . I settled on a Ruger in 6 mm rem.

I'll take this wish one step further, Prewar Model 70 .257 Roberts Supergrade. DigitalDan, beautiful rifle!

Yes indeed. It is a .257 Roberts and is for sale. Won't be cheap...

Wasn’t on any list, but ran into a Husky .270 yesterday that really caught my eye, as did a First Model K22 Outdoorsman at the same place. I was twitching back and forth like a squirrel trying to cross the road, and finally jumped on the Smith. Still have a hankering for a good MS carbine or rifle, and then there’s the Browning 1885 .357 Low Wall, but not really looking in earnest for either. Always interested in nice 98s, but have several so the ache is mostly in the background, except for that Husky…..

A couple I did finally get that didn’t stay long were a Browning 92 and a Ruger 1S .45/70.
