I don’t always agree with what Formadillo posts, BUT the dude is always ready to back up his claims with $$$.

The rump rangers just yap nonsense, and ankle bite.

Here is an example, read post 36....

That Leupy clown slithered back under his rock, just like the Homo Wizard when he is called out. Hint.

Just wish I could afford a NF for all my LR rifles.

Hey John, how many years did that mutation take you? Looks like life has been rough. Be honest now. When was the last time you saw your pecker? For real - no mirrors or phones.

I would love it if this scope tracks and holds.

Fingers crossed but breath not held.

Decided to get one for my 308 build, new to FFP and MOA but everything I have is Duplex so wanted something different. Don't know if I'll hunt with it as it's not illuminated but I'd like to get more proficient at longer distances (targets only, not so much big game) so we'll see. McMillan say stock is ready to ship, last piece the puzzle on the way.

Be interested to see what you think. Even how well it'll move to get it zeroed and especially once you start turning on it a little bit.

I have other Leupold 5HDs, including a 2-10, but never been a "dialer". Hoping to learn something in the process!

It's alot of fun for me. Hoping to hear good things about the Mk4. It won't take you long to know if it being good or wandering.

I could have used a few more Xs on the scope but I didn't want a jumbo scope on the small frame 308 and the next size up were 35mm tubes, further complicating things. Hope to have it at the range in a week or so...

I'm fine maxed out at 10X on a hunting scope but long range shooters these days seem to like scopes up to 15, 20x and beyond. I like my 3-15 5HDs, they seem to be the sweet spot for me for a hunting rig but not so much on this build. I think I'd be fine out to 500 yards but I'd like to be able to get on target out to 1,000. As said, this practice is new to me so I'll see what works and what's lacking.

Mathman, you're asking questions I don't know the answer to, at least not yet. I bought this scope mostly to be different from what I have and for target shooting, at distances to be determined, and to maybe learn something about using a FFP, MOA reticle and dialing for distance, that's about all I can offer at the moment.

It'll work fine I imagine. 10X with the right reticle is pretty useful.

Looking forward to putting the pieces together, soon!

This is the stock I ordered, on the way! (McM stock photo).
