A new 1979 CJ-7. Rolled and totalled it a year later to be replaced with a 1979 CJ-5.

57 Chevy, Belaire 2 door sedan. Didn't run & was told it was parked 18 months earlier with a slipping trans. He said many had tried to buy it but nobody had showed him any money. I showed up a week later with cash & the deal was done. $125. A magical time for a 16 yo gearhead.

The first vehicle I owned was a 58 Chevy Apache 283, 4 speed. Didn't keep it long, was offered way more than the $50 I paid for it and let it go. Bought a 70 Chevelle with the money from the 58 Apache The stock 307 didn't last long. Put a 383 stroker in it and had to much fun
Just because you're offended doesn't mean your right.

49 1/2 Ford F1 flathead V8 three speed in the floor. I was 13 Dad dropped me off where it was and I worked on it cleaned the gas tank (had hay in it) out got the brake’s pumped up and put a sorta fresh battery in it (6 volt positive ground). Liberal doses of Mystery Marvel oil in the right places and fresh gas fired it up but the clutch was stuck. Dad showed up and we dragged it down a dirt road and freed it up. Topped the master cylinder off and Dad told me to take the back road home (about 50 miles) as he had to go to another job. I restored that truck and sold it 5 years later.

59' GMC PU 389, 4 spd hydramatic, R-N-1-4, 1-3, 1-2 or so, no park so had to be smart where I parked it and the E brake always worked. It had trouble wearing rear tires for some reason til I got tired of buying them or walking.

70 Nova SS. Fire Engine Red with black vinyl top. 350 4 bolt main with Holly 650. 4 speed Hurst Competition Plus with 3.73 rear end gear. Gauges were factory on the console with the factory tachometer on the dash. It was a heck of a ride!
