When I got to the cows with my second load this morning about half of them were not eating.
Not chewing cud either.
I thought what the hell?
Get out to cut net wrap and it felt like it was 75 degrees. No wind, sun shining.
Frigging cows were just sitting there enjoying the "heat". It was 25 below....but no wind and hot sun.
It was glorious.

Glad you guys caught a break from the wind!
It was blowing 20-30mph here today, those ol' cows were shaking their heads when they left the calm of the trees and brush out to where we could feed them.

Well - cooled off a little here in the balmy southwest.
-6 with 10 mph wind, gusts to 17 here.
Can't wait for the daybreak dip, and winds to come up.

for the 3rd time in about 9 months, my utility company has sent me a notice saying they are raising the monthly rate of my budget billing, and this is with me getting a significantly more effecient furnace 3 months ago
