Thanx guys, will check them both out. I have a Rem 722 action that was originally .257 Roberts. Someone re-chambered to .257 Rbts/AI, magazine is not long enough to make use of the case capacity. I LIKE!!! to be different am thinking a 6.5 on one of the "short magnum" cases. I know there is really no reason to go 6.5 over .257 or .270 except the above stated DIFFERENT factor. I also have a SAKO M591 LH action that has same magaxine length so it will likely get same chambering. I shoot Lefty and the SAKO I picked up extra cheap when gun dealer friend got it in by mistake. The 722 I have a KILLER piece of wood to fit it to, figure will make dandy Deer/Antelope/Caribou rifle for my lovely bride.
