I don't know if they are doing a 1-8" Superlite but have seen pictures of the regular T3X Lite in that twist. If they do have a SL in that twist that would be a nice rifle.

The attached still shows it as a 1-10" twist. I know they make a .243 SL just not in 8 twist that I have seen.

SL's are only available at Sportsmans with black stocks and Cabelas with a camo stock I believe.

If you cross ref the "MPN JRAXSL15" on the Sportman's site to the official Tikka site, it shows a 1:8" twist...

Well then that would be awesome if they hit the shelves!! I don't really need another .243 but that one could be fun - thanks for the link much obliged!

I picked up a Tikka 243 win from BassPro with an 1:8 twist. It's not a Superlite.

Not sure about Right Hand. Sportsmans is the only place I could find with new Left Hand T3x Super Lights in stock.

Not a Sportsmans fan. Even with buying and paying on line and having all paperwork in hand, it still took nearly an hour to pickup the rifle on a weekday afternoon with only one other customer in the Gun Department... Typical scenario. One clerk waiting on two customers. And literally three other clerks standing around watching and bull chitting...

You want to go put your hands on the rifle you are buying and verify twist rate. I went to a large Va retailer looking to buy a 1/8 twist ember 243. Looking at the website the only way they come. Get to the store display model was a 1/10 twist. I asked if they had more in the back which they had 5 more. 4 of the guns were 1/8 twist 2 were 1/10. All with the same product number. Not the 1st time I’ve seen that with Tikka either. Evidently it’s common in 22 cal and 6mm barrels.

Would love to have one of those and rechamber it to 6mm AI. With the long action, would have plenty of room for long bullets

Curious what bullet you want to hunt with that an 10 twist won't stabilize?

The Hornady 105 bthp and 108 eld m are wonderful 6mm bullets that require faster than a 10. With a 10 I like 95 nbt a lot.

105 lapua scenar. I’ve had issues getting most of the 100gr offerings to shoot well in my 1/10 guns.
