I make it a habit, I live in a target rich environment. About three weeks ago I saw some chick wearing a shirt with the Ukrainian flag, I told her "you know, that really puzzles me". She asked "why, you don't think we should be defending the Ukraine from the Russian invasion?" I replied to her "well I'm not saying that exactly, only that back in my day, when I was your age, some communists overran the the border into South Vietnam, and back then democrats said by coming to South Vietnam's aid, we were fighting an illegal and immoral war, then they called our troops baby killers..I'm just trying to put it in a perspective that I can understand..can you help me?" You talk about a confused and angry liberal chick!

When a 20-something kid parrots the "Thank you for your service" comment, I usually ask "Which branch of the military do you plan to join?" The look of utter confusion they usually give me is priceless!

Been wearing my new Trump '24 hat around town the last couple of days. Had a few Mexicans give me the stink eye at Home Depot.
Stopped into the local independently owned jewelry shop to buy The Mrs. an anniversary gift today, and a very elegantly dressed elderly lady complimented me on the hat, then took out her cell phone and showed me a photo of her wearing one. Atta girl!
