Should have one here by Wednesday via EuroOptic. Looking forward to see what the actual eye relief is. Probably put it on my recently acquired 6.5 Creedmoor Kimber Subalpine.

Great looking scope, ultra compact, eye relief is a little strange but mainly on 3-4x. The only flaw for me and why I’m selling mine is the small fov. Great glass though.

Did the FOV cause you problems hunting?

Im thinking this scope will end up on a ruger hawkeye 3006......that may have the shortest LOP of any bolt gun i own.......but we'll see.

Other candidates are a couple of 308 boat anchor heavy barrels or a tikka t3 lite ss 3006.

I have a Trijicon 3x9 x40. I mounted it on a 300 Weatherby and didn't get scope eye shooting it.

Mine had great color and micro contrast, or pop as some call it. As to the eyebox it’s just strange on the low powers, 5-7 tend to be the sweet spot. A bud had a Burris ff2 4.5-14 that I preferred optically except for color and the small size.

It’s definitely worth the $300 but thats the top I’d pay for one. The Trijicon also has a more classic finish that the tenmile or credo, more of a sheen finish like a Zeiss diavari which I really liked.

It’s also a perfect size scope imo, looks great, good glass and bright, again the only complaint for me was the eyebox and fov.

I got one of these from Europtic. they have been at this price since before Christmas...for $300 the Huron is a great scope, mine tracks very well and glass is excellent with bright clear optics, eye relief on mine is good but the eyebox is somewhat tighter than say the eyebox on a Leupold VX3 or Swarovski Z3...My only real gripe with the $300 Europtic Huron is i dont care for the BDC reticle, i would much rather have a plain old duplex reticle but for $300 i guess i cant really complain....Hb

I see the 30mm Hurons are also discounted heavily. I've read on here that the large ocular can sometimes be a problem with bolt clearance. Anybody got a Huron 30mm on Model 70? Also, how do the 30mm Hurons stack up as far as durability/retention of zero compared to Accupoints? Thanks.

I have an Accupoint 3-9x40 with duplex and dot. Mine is on a pre-64 FWT .358 Win. Doesn’t kick like your .300 Win Mag. Nevertheless, I see no issues with FOV or ER. Glass is every bit as good as a VX-3i, if not a tad better. Good solid, well made scopes. No experience with Hurons.

I handled a Huron at a local store. The eye relief at 9X is a no go for me. Eye box was meh. Glass was very good. I assume it will track accurately. Seems Trijicon has that down.

I have a 3-9 Accupoint in the box, along with a $100 FF E1 3-9x50, plus a SS 1-4, so I’ll leave them for the next guy.

I feel another optical Chinese fire drill coming on…..

I just measured the eye relief on my 3-9X Huron that arrived today.

2 3/4" at 9X (spec is 2.5")
3 3/4" at 3X (spec is 3.7")

It will be fine on my Kimber Mountain Ascent 6.5 Creedmoor.

Whats the LOP on that rifle?

Or is lop not a factor?
