Possum seems to be the closest I can find, but even most of the pics I find of those aren't that pronounced.

Best estimate here is canine - bigger than a red fox - smallish coyote or a dog.

I hadn't even thought about those, considering the size. And Florida, but I seem to remember an episode of Flipper or Miami Vice with a bear in it.

Maybe a yearling cub? 80lb or so?

Possums do have 50 teeth and coyotes have 42. That would be a good way to tell. I'm counting 24 on that bottom jaw, so if the top is similar 48 is closer to 50 than 42.

The possum/coyote gang is narrowing it down to my eye. Puzzle on one part is the leg bone looks a bit long for a possum. Other part is the skull resembles the possum pic below.
