My youth was spent outside playing in ditches, playing army or tag, riding bikes, making trails to bike ride on in the woodlots and ramps to jump, shooting guns and bows, spearing carp in the ditches, riding quads and 3 wheelers, scrounging scrap lumber and building tree forts, getting into occasional fistfights, riding around on the weekends with buddies when I was teenager while looking to meet girls and so on. That was still the norm in the 80’s-90’s when I grew up and we were a whole less filtered/PC.

Suburbs today seem to be nearly as crammed together as pre-WWII inner cities.
