It wasn't French, but I went into the Alien Cathouse in Amargosa Valley, NV a few years ago. We were stopped to get fuel when my dad said "Look over there." Sumbish. I said I'll be right back.
Went over just to get a t-shirt for a buddy of mine at their gift shop. I assumed they had a gift shop. They wouldn't let me out until I got a full tour. That was all I did was see the entire place even the kitchen and dining area. Last place they walked me through the foam room.
Somewhere along the way I saw the prices. Holy smokes it was expensive even then. This was around 2012. Finally got the shirt and left. Jumped in the truck and told my dad that I had to pee badly. He asked me why I didn't pee in there. I said I was afraid to get it out because they might have charged me for it.
My buddy proudly wears that shirt. I should have gotten two.

You dont actually have to go in one to know what it smells like, but it is a curious blend of cheap perfume and garlic, at least I think it was garlic.

Since when that saying came out the French were known for not bathing much and using lots of perfume/cologne.....I am going to guess that they smell like a 7 year old who got into the perfume bottle.Plus some BO.
