I earned that name
It means
Inspector

I've been trying to get some basic Spanish for almost 40 years now. Took a couple of years in college, none of it stuck, not even one bit. Learning a few words here and there in the last couple of years dealing with customers. Don't really understand why it's such a struggle. English was a piece of cake, German wasn't bad, and even French is ok. Spanish is just not happening.
However, I bet if I was on a date with one of those girls above and a few beers, I'd learn a LOT in a short time. At least that's how I picked up a bunch of my English, lol.

I was always told that pendejo meant a pubic hair. Technically, that is correct. Generally means something like "dumbass". First time I heard it was from a Puerto Rican guy in basic training. One thing that makes Spanish tricky is that it is a wordy language. One word in English can have more than one in Spanish. Plus, there is a lot of slang, and ordinary words can have a suggestive or even obscene meaning, and it varies among countries. The common word for get or take in some countries is the F word in others. Somewhere I read that there are 64 words for vagina. Chaqueta means jacket, but in Mexico it refers to masturbation, so they say chamarra instead. Ten cuidado!
